JEWISH BLIND & DISABLED 2017
"It was a complete escape"
On behalf of all our tenants, Thank you for opening your heart and your home to us. We really appreciate being invited to enjoy another Milly Day with you. The gardens are stunning and it was a complete escape for our tenants who were able to relax and be pampered in such a magnificent setting. You are amazing organising Milly Days for so many groups and making us feel so at home and welcome. I spoke to a number of tenants yesterday and this morning and they are all talking about their day out and have asked me to pass on their thanks. As you went round and chatted to each of them, they really felt special.
Thank you to Emma and her team of helpers who organised everything and served us throughout the day.
We appreciate the generosity of our sponsors, without whom the day would not have been possible. I do hope we will be able to bring another group of tenants next year.
With many thanks
and fond wishes
Thank you so much for organising a wonderful Milly Day for our tenants. We were blessed with sunshine again and our tenants had a day to remember. You had thought of everything – the tables looked lovely, there was plenty of delicious food and everyone enjoyed the fresh strawberries.
On behalf of all the tenants and staff at Jewish Blind & Disabled, please pass on our thanks to all your ladies for working so hard in the heat to serve teas and for looking after our every need. Please also pass on our thanks to Captain John who made the boat rides such fun and was so patient helping all our tenants board the boat. They absolutely loved the boat trip.
I have written to Tony to thank him for his generosity in sponsoring our Milly day again.
We have some stunning photos as a memory of the day and we will be posting them on our Facebook page (Jewish Blind & Disabled) and on our website www.jbd.org
I do hope we will be able to bring another group of tenants next year. It really is the highlight of their year.
With thanks again for all your help
