On behalf of the residents in Nightingale, I would like thank to you, Gina , Simon and your wonderful team for allowing us the privilege of sharing in another magnificent day at Bourne End.

It was particularly nice this year to be able to include a number of our volunteers from the League of Jewish Women and I was also indebted to have the support of my own team and our gardener who was working with Captain John on the “ Milly Belle “. It’s great to be able to work together in such a responsive way to enable the residents to maximise their enjoyment throughout the day.

We have been caught up over the last week in supporting the process of moving the last 14 residents from Hammerson into their new abode in Nightingale and hope that some of them will also be able to join us next year.

In terms of photos , I have arranged with my colleague Annette from our Fundraising Team to sit down next week to collate a series of pictures for your website. I will also seek the relevant consent from individual residents.

I enclose a copy of the transportation costs for the Community Transport but would like to meet the additional costs for the catering ( which is minimal) from the residents daily luncheon allowance.

I hope that the rest of your groups have an amazing experience time over the summer too !
