KIDS CITY TRIP OF A LIFETIME 2016
Kids City provides out of school activities for children aged 3-11, as well as volunteering, employment and training opportunities for adults living in areas of high unemployment
On Friday 30th May, Milly Days welcomed nearly 40 children from the Kids City Charity. We all had a wonderful day as the rain kept away so all the kids were able to make use of all the facilities on offer. They played tennis, football, went on the trampoline and down the Thames on ‘Milly Belle’.
We also had Basil & Crew petting farm to join in with the fun. The kids could ride a shetland pony called Esmerelda, feeds the lambs, cuddle the rabbits and hold a tortoise.
They had lunch in the marquee and ice creams on the lawn. At the end of the day, every child went home with a lovely goody bag filled with toys. The kids and carers all had a ball and we can’t wait to have them back for another special Milly Day soon.
