RAYS OF SUNSHINE
On Tuesday, 3rd July 2018, Rays of Sunshine had the pleasure of being invited back to a lovely riverside property on the banks of the Thames in Buckinghamshire – all thanks to the wonderful team from Milly Days UK.
More than 20 of our lovely wish families came along to enjoy a relaxing day in the sun and an opportunity to make new family memories with many fun activities. There was a petting zoo, an archery range, crazy mini golf, boat rides, and arguably the most attractive attraction on the 30-degree day, the swimming pool!
At Rays of Sunshine, we cannot thank you enough for your superb hospitality, and for once again opening your Milly Days home up to us and our wish families. Everyone had an incredible time.
Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts, it was an amazing day.

"We just wanted to say a big heartfelt thank you for having us spend a fun filled day with other families with Rays of Sunshine on Sunday.
Our family had such a relaxing day enjoying all the activities with the boat ride, archery, petting zoo, mini golf and swimming. There was so much to do, yet everything was relaxed and everyone so friendly. Our much needed welcome coffee and biscuits, lunch, ice-cream and strawberries and cream was amazing, you truly thought of everything!
Our 10 year old son Dylan has just completed three years of chemotherapy for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and is finding it difficult to get back to “normal” with ongoing side effects but having days like this helps to take his mind off his problems and gives us a chance as a family to reconnect with each other as we often had long periods of being separated.
Thank you all again, it is absolutely wonderful and selfless of Gina and family to have us all there and all the work you all do to assure families like mine have a great day.
“Thank you” doesn’t really seem an appropriate word to describe how much we appreciated the day and how much you gave to our family, it is totally indescribable.
